Lucas Lesoeur is originally from Paris, France, where he grew up playing high-level junior tennis. Lucas was trained by the French Federation of Tennis and was ranked as a top junior in his age group. He won the U14 Nike Junior Tour at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in 2010. 

 

In his competitive career, Lucas was recruited to play tennis with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s NCAA Division 1 tennis program, where he also studied business administration. He then continued his education at William Carey University, where he worked for 2 years as an assistant head coach at the Racquet Club of Hattiesburg.

 

Over the summer during his college years, Lucas would return to Paris and work as a hitting partner and coach at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy and Roland Garros. 

 

After graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 2020, Lucas made his way to California to coach at the Racquet Club of Irvine. There, Lucas conducted both group and private lessons. He then joined the team at TTC Newport Beach in 2021, and has been assisting in tennis and fitness programs, college placement, and program development.
